In April 2019, we established a new status of residence called “Specified Skilled Worker” as a new means to solve the labor shortage.
Specified Skilled Worker is a status of residence for 14 industries in 12 fields where labor shortages are remarkable. The breakdown of the 14 industries is as follows.
